Ministry Opportunities
We offer many opportunities for spiritual growth throughout the week.
We are so blessed at First Baptist to have an amazing group of people that give their time and talents in the area of worship. Our worship team leads the congregation in songs of praise and worship each Sunday and throughout the year at special events.

Sunday School at First Baptist is alive and exciting! Qualified teachers in every class are committed to the spiritual and knowledgeable growth of each member. Each lesson is Biblically based and each student is encouraged to open up the Bible, not only on Sunday morning but throughout the week. Elementary classes focus on building strong Biblical knowledge while Jr. and Sr. High classes build upon that foundation. Several options for adult growth offer a culturally relevant, purposeful look in the Word of God. Whether you are a new believer or a long time Christian, Sunday School at FBC is an opportunity to “be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
We offer Women’s Bible Studies in the fall on Monday mornings and evenings. We have men’s Bible Studies on Friday mornings all year long. Other Bible studies are available throughout the year.
Prayer is an important part of our ministry. We have a men’s group that meets on Thursday mornings at 8:30 a.m., and a monthly women’s prayer meeting that meets the fourth Friday of the month at 10:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. We also have have an email prayer chain.
Each summer we have Vacation Bible School for children 3 years old through 6th grade. We are always looking for volunteers to help make this ministry successful. Some ways in which you may volunteer are teacher, teacher’s helper, floater, kitchen worker, nursery, games, music, etc.
